**New Story Concepts**

During the times I’m not writing stories, I often brainstorm and think of other story concepts: two of which are currently in the process of being edited and established.
The first one is called "Rising Star". It revolves around a girl named (something... in other words, I haven't figured it out yet!) performing in a school play. She gets scouted by a talent agent who promises to make her a star. Instead, he ends up scamming her for all her money. It's kinda like that - she eventually finds a better agency and yada-yada-yada...
The other one, which I'm not so sure about, is called "The Contract." It's an okay concept, although I'm dreading the fact that it may be awfully shallow and a plot everyone has already come across. It's about a girl named Kirsten who is often teased by her friends for remaining single. After having the final straw, she musters up her courage and pretends she has an absolutely attractive and loving boyfriend, when she does not. She ends up asking something (maybe Liam, her brother's coach) to pretend to be her boyfriend for a short amount of time, drafting up a contract with several rules, one of which is that they cannot fall in love with each other. The contract is for about two months, enough time for her to say she had a boyfriend and break up with him. They realize they're in love with each other and blah-blah-blah...
